What was the problem?
For our use case, we will focus on the scenario of eating at a restaurant, where the user will be learning Mandarin and about Chinese culture. There are many potential interactions that can exist in this space, such as ordering dishes, exhibiting common greetings, and asking/answering questions about the meal. As for the cultural aspect, the user can learn about etiquette and norms such as eating family style with others at the table, learning to use chopsticks, and signaling that they are done eating.

Paper Prototype
The video showcases the creation process of an immersive cultural dining experience designed for the Engage VR platform. It begins with a clay model introduction, detailing the layout and aesthetics of the virtual environment, including seating arrangements and thematic features. Transitioning to a paper prototype, designers demonstrate interactive elements and user interface functionalities, illustrating how users can navigate, interact, and engage with others. The emphasis is on fostering cultural appreciation and engagement, blending traditional crafting techniques with VR technology to offer a unique opportunity for users to explore diverse cultures in a virtual dining setting.

Privacy and Security Concerns
Privacy
Include an end-to-end network encryption/passcodes that authenticated users need access to before entering the virtual setting
Security
Potentially implement intermittent data purges to limit impact of unauthorized access and keep current users safe
