01 . Motion Design - Foundation & Components
Project Overview - UX Research
Motion is a DDS Foundation that provides guidance around animation and interaction of components within the design system. It is challenging to convey motion within designed components because the component cannot show its full interaction/animation abilities without providing a demo, prototype or other form of experiencing the component.
Project Deliverables
• Outlining possible enhancements to show educational guidance around motion Design.
• Define and document Dell Design System motion design principles.
• Improvise on displaying information to the customers for the UI motion guidelines.
02 . Accessible Carousel - Community & Enablement
Project Overview - UX Research
Discover and Design the overall build of the Carousel Component which will be used as a top component for the DDS v2 website.
Project Deliverables
• Data analysis for the discovery phase for the carousel components across various other design systems.
• Present the research and the low fidelity designs with motion enhancements at the Design critique.
• Hand off the design and the details to the developers for all responsive designs for the carousel.
03 . Design System Tutorial - Foundation & Components
Project Overview - UX Research
As a DDS user, customers would like to have tutorials to assist with the DDS related items so that they can be more productive at work.
Project Deliverables
• Discovery, Designing, and Framing from MVP tutorials.
• Conducting user testing for the MVP phase.
• Analyzing ways to represent tutorials on various areas of the Design system websites for the customers.
My team in Austin celebrated a week of my visit to Austin as the position was remote. I was taken for a Dell way tour across the campus in Round Rock. There were ‘Ladies co-working’ space arranged in cafe throughout the week. It was an immense warm welcome at Dell.
